To train government staff and those from animal welfare organizations to use of some of the animal population management tools presented at the AfA Borneo 2015
To share knowledge and experiences and to capture the lessons learned from these;
To discuss and agree actions that can be taken to address some of the key and common challenges faced by those working on animal population management; and
To create a network of animal population management practitioners across these countries to continue to share and learn.
Who Should Attend
The target audience for this workshop is local government staff and animal population management practitioners across Sarawak and Malaysia, as well as local government staff and practitioners from the neighbouring countries – Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines - and particularly those who attended the Asia for Animals (AfA) Borneo 2015.
